The M3 Max is absurd. 92 billion transistors, 16-core CPU and 40-core GPU. It’s 80& faster than the M1 Max released just 2 years earlier. Hardware-accelerated ray tracing and mesh shading are central to these chips - which of course is in preparation for Apple’s mixed reality and revamped gaming efforts. New MacBook Pros were announced, featuring a brand new color - Space Black. 2006 MacBook vibes. The M3 Max-powered MacBook Pro is a beast. 11 times faster than the last generation of Intel-based Macs. 128GB of unified memory. Up to 22 hours of battery life.
