Maybe it is just me, but I always find it jarring when I meet a speaker or author and their current headshot does not match their current reality. So as a gesture of kindness and wanting to save people from having to self-regulate their, "Oh my, you look older — a lot older — than your picture" reaction, I figured it was time for new headshots. With book release and speaking stuff coming up and despite everything going on in the world and my life, I finally found some time for a photoshoot — yes, I'm fancy. Our crew has worked with the wonderful and creative Erin Ashford before as she does the traditional look as well as the funky perspectives. As usual, we wandered around the house and looked for interesting backgrounds. It was fun going through the process as she tried to find interesting ways to share a little of my current story.
