“Having a disability doesn’t mean you’re not good at your job, or you’re not a good friend, daughter, son or parent. It doesn’t stop you from making an impact.” Isabella Baita is a proud Red Crosser of nine years who finds every day rewarding, knowing she is helping make a difference in people's lives. She joined the organization in 2015 as a human resources intern and today serves as a senior associate on our brand marketing team. 👏🏽👏🏽 In the middle of her Red Cross career, Isabella was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. Nausea, brain fog, severe pain and fatigue all made it challenging for her to feel like herself and show up in the way that she wanted. “I felt like I had to reintroduce myself, not just to myself, but to the world," Isabella said.
