(Português abaixo) We celebrate #WorldCitiesDay with this beautiful vision of Sao Paulo, Brazil.✊ It is inspired by the ideas and dreams of more than 1000 residents of the city who participated in our Opinion Poll, including local volunteers and donors. In the early 1900s, the Tietê River has been a popular destination for families in the city to spend time together and relax, to swim or kayak, and to observe the rich wildlife of the area.🚲 🌳 🌼 🍃 But the Tietê of today has become a polluted and forgotten stretch of water, with highways on either side, flooding periodically during the rainy season. Communities believe better cities are possible and have very clear ideas on how to build them.
