Frida, the 12-foot skeleton that stands beside Koi Hernandez’s Southeast Portland house year-round, is just one part of a sprawling Halloween and Día de los Muertos display that is creating a buzz in the Mount Tabor neighborhood.
On Halloween night last year, there was a line of trick-or-treaters down the block, Koi said. This year, they’re anticipating the crowds by adding some entertainment while people wait: an outdoor showing of “Coco,” projected onto a screen in front of their house.
