When you get inducted into your hometown Sports Hall of Fame, you gotta rep the hood. Sunday, surrounded by friends and family, in the city I grew up in, I was inducted into the Montgomery County Sports Hall of Fame. As I sat on stage, sparkling from head to toe, looking out over the crowd, it struck me how many people have helped me succeed. No one excels alone. No one. From those who fought for Title IX, to the generations of players on the USWNT, and to countless others who worked in silence so I can have a voice.... This award is for you.
