Joe Louis Greenway- West Warren Gateway Ribbon Cutting Ceremony 🎉 . . . I’m so proud of what’s happening in the neighborhoods of the cityofdetroit. I’ve been at every ribbon cutting of this project, but being that I was born, raised, and educated through elementary/ middle school right down the street from this location hits home. I never thought in a million years we’d see something like this in our community. When they first mentioned it, I actually thought it was a joke. Seeing the process, running through the development, and witnessing the progress has been dope. Detroit residents deserve safe, clean, and environmentally friendly spaces for bicyclists, walkers, hikers, joggers, skaters, etc. It’s also very important for the kids to have spaces to just be a kid! This is a great step in the right direction providing access for a healthier & happier community and only the beginning of greater days ahead for the city!
