As the temperatures drop, numerous animals slow down or hibernate, but guess who remains active?š¦
During winter, deer transform into social creatures, forming herds in designated areas with plenty of food. These deer yards serve as safe havens where they collectively trample down snow for easier mobility. Their winter diet includes leaves, twigs, nuts, and fruits, and to brave the cold, they grow a thicker winter coat called a guard coat, which repels water and keeps them warm. āļøšæ
