In continued celebration of our 20th anniversary year, we look back at the rich history of the local land. Once home to Treasure Island Trailer Park, our coastal bluffs were the set of “The Long, Long Trailer” featuring Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball. During the filming in 1953, two small palm trees, leaning romantically towards each other, were planted, and are now named after the renowned actors.
