We're over the moon to announce that Burnley College has been awarded a grant of almost £1,800 to buy four portable telescopes🔭🌙 This generous funding is from the Ogden Trust. This is just one more way we're enhancing our students' learning experience. These tools will benefit our A-level students and be a key part of our Astronomy Enrichment Programme. But that's not all! We're taking our passion for science out into the community, visiting primary schools and inviting secondary schools to our college for astronomical observations of the sun – gathering real scientific data.
