While Krka National Park was one of the stops on our first day in Croatia with Viking during our hosted "Empires of the Mediterranean" sailing, it wasn't the only stop. We also spent time learning about bird rehabilitation at Sokolarski Centar near Dubrava with Emilio. He introduced us to his owl Gizmo who helps with many, or most, of his lectures, and a hawk named Dixie! The facility is a UNESCO heritage site.
