Best comment at Javelina 100K - you have a huge advantage with that prosthetic🤦😂. The person was being totally serious. This is what my so-called "advantage" looked like: 1. I was running at the back of the pack, surely I'd be winning if I had an advantage? 2. I was stopping every mile to release my blade to rub my stump because it was hurting so bad. 3. My stump was bleeding because my liner sock had folded so it cut into my skin 4. At one point I didn't put my liner back on correctly after removing the leg so the suction system created a huge blister because it was holding my leg in the wrong place. 5. I sat on a rock and cried because I was so frustrated with how my race was going and frustrated because I was struggling so much with my stupid prosthetic and then I struggled to get up from the rock because I had taken my leg off🤦. Yes I called my prosthetic stupid during the race😂 Not sure how running with a prosthetic is an advantage?🤦😂 #javelinajundred #amputeelife
