I can’t tell you how many times in my life, I’ve blown it because I’ve tried to defend myself and fight a battle that wasn’t worth fighting or fight someone else’s battle that wasn’t even mine to fight. But- when I’ve lived holy and right before the Lord, when I've walked in obedience and holiness unto Him, whenever a battle has come my way, I’ve been in such a place where I’ve been able to be at peace and trust God to fight it. And He has always, always been faithful amen!? That’s what Joseph is saying in Genesis 50:19 “Don’t be afraid, am I in the place of God?” He acknowledged who he was and who he was not! He stood on the fact that no matter what was done to him, he was not to play God and bring judgment or vengeance upon his brothers.
