As our guest worship leader said a few weeks ago, "There is a difference between faith and trust." Hebrews 11:1 shows us, "Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see," while trust comes after faith after He has already proven himself. When situations in our life are challenging, we need to take a step back and find out what we are lacking before we confront our storms. Are we lacking in faith, or are we lacking in trust? Asking questions like, "Have I seen God do something like this in my life before?" and "Is this something I have never seen God do, but I know he can?" can lead us toward our answer. If we need to build up our faith, we probably need to ensure that what we believe about God aligns with what Scripture says about God. However, if we need more trust, we must remember the ways God has come through in the past. Leaning on our testimony to fuel our trust in him. #BridgeCentralCoast #churchfamily #GodHeals #JesusLovesYou #Worship #Gods...
