In our world, it's hard to be validated unless you are a victim of someone or something. Victimhood leads to shame and guilt. It demands that you have to be bigger, you have to be stronger. But for most of us we don't feel big enough, we don't feel strong enough to overcome wounds on our own. And while Jesus doesn't condone hurts, he heals them. He speaks a better word over you and your identity. You are not who the scars you wear say you are. In Christ you are redeemed, you are pure.
