This 26yoF endured a hyperflexion injury to her knee after a fall. Separation of the fragments and a lovely job by the surgeon to get it back together! This patient was referred to the clinic by the surgeon after the initial physio sessions at the hospital were not enough, and her progress was slow. She is ten weeks post-surgery, and her focus for the next few weeks will be to get her back to full weight-bearing, as she has been struggling. Flexion needs improving, and her quadriceps strength is poor. She has a likely uncomfortable few months coming up as rehab will need to be quite aggressive now.
