I can’t seem to get away from RICO cases. This morning, was the arraignment for dozens of co-defendants charged in a RICO indictment over trying to destroy the construction of a controversial police and fire training facility near Atlanta. It’s been dubbed Cop City by its detractors. Some of the 61 co-defendants have been charged with domestic terrorism stemming from charges leveled against them during a September indictment by Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr. I was inside court during the arraignment. The judge was no nonsense. Someone was chastised for sneezing in court.
