Reason of the Week: Ithaca College was named to Princeton Review’s Best 388 Colleges, showcasing schools recommended to applicants and their parents as the best for undergraduate academics. IC earned many distinctions that put them in the top 25 for individual rankings. Which included #8 Best College Newspaper, #17 Best College Theater, #16 Best College Radio Station, and #21 for Green Matters: Everyone Cares about Conservation. The college’s student-run newspaper, The Ithacan, and radio stations 92-WICB and VIC Radio are both based in the Roy H. Park School of Communications. The School of Music, Theatre, and Dance highlights and celebrates the performing arts preparing students for multidisciplinary artistic careers in the 21st century. Ithaca College has also been compliant with the Ithaca Forever Plan where the college has committed to being carbon neutral by 2050 and is on track to meet the goal sooner.
