When I was researching things to do in Alaska, I knew that the one place I did not want to miss out on visiting was chenahotsprings. We drove through a blizzard to get to the springs, but the drive was worth it. It was a solid way to wind down from all the adventures and if you're lucky, you can even see the northern lights from there!
Tips when planning your visit:
♨️ They close pretty late, hours from 7:00am to 11:45pm
♨️ The lockers are a bit old school and you'll need quarters to unlock them.
♨️ There is a small cost to rent out towels, but they are fine if you bring your own
♨️ I recommend staying for at least 3 hours, and then head over to the restaurant adjacent to the springs.
If you're lucky with clear skies, you might be able to see the Northern Lights after hours. It was too cloudy when codyconk and I went, but maybe you'll get lucky during your visit. Safe & happy travels 🖤
