Benny is a twelve-year-old rescue dog who overcame the trauma of his abuse with the support and love of some very caring humans who welcomed him into their home. 💙 When he was first rescued, Benny was timid and full of fear. He was scared to walk past traffic, scared of the sound of pots and pans, and even men due to his abuse. Through a lot of TLC, he began to trust his new parents and now even approaches strangers for attention on his walks! Adopting a senior special needs dog may mean making some life adjustments, but the joy their companionship brings makes all of the challenges worth it.
