Some unshared moments from Peru 🇵🇪 - and a few things we learned 👇 • If there’s 1 country we’re set on returning to - it’s Peru. We spent 2 weeks earlier this year, and barely scratched the surface. • We focused on the jaw dropping destinations in and around Cusco: Macchu Picchu, Sacred Valley, Humantey Lake— and the (5 Day) Salkantay Trek 🥾. • We stuck to the mountains—yet we’re DYING to return and experience: the Amazon, Huacachina (desert oasis 🏝️), Peru’s shining coast 🌊 and Paracas National Reserve + a Lima food tour —honestly, the list is endless and growing! (What should we add?) • Here’s just a few things we learned: • 📅 May was PERFECT - although we hear that April to November (dry season in the Highlands) is ideal for popular destinations, such as Macchu Picchu. • 🛑 Altitude sickness is real - Cusco sits at almost 10,000ft. We spent 3 full days exploring in and around Cusco, acclimating our lungs, before attempting the big 5 Day Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu. And R...
