Today marks 5 years since the Borderline tragedy. The community gathered at the healing garden located in Thousand Oaks to honor all 12 who were lost, including Sergeant Ron Helus. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office was honored to attend the gathering and to reflect on the lives lost. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the survivors, family and friends who are still carrying the weight of this tragedy.
