Happy National #CelebrateFirstGen Day! Because today is all about recognizing first generation college students I thought I should share my own experience. Originally my mother attended Marshall for about two years before she decided to take a different path. She has been amazing throughout my journey and has been super supportive! It’s one of the main reasons why I chose Marshall; it made me feel closer to my mom. Even though she cannot help navigate all aspects of college, she is constantly rooting for me.
