A lake has formed in one of the driest places on Earth. The remnants of Hurricane Hilary dumped more than two inches of rain on Death Valley National Park back in August, sparking flash flooding and a prolonged park closure. Now that Death Valley is back open, visitors to Badwater Basin can see where a shallow lake has formed 282 feet below sea level. But those who want to see it have to hurry: the lake is shrinking rapidly, and will likely only stick around for a few more weeks. #deathvalley #badwaterbasin #lakemanly #hurricanehilary #weather #deathvalleynationalpark
