Today is Indigenous Veterans Day in Canada. We acknowledge and honour the thousands of Indigenous veterans for their service, bravery and sacrifice to ensure our safety, freedom and peace. This beaded poppy was created by Keri-Lee Whitebear, originally from Saskatchewan and now living on Tsleil-Waututh Nation.
