Sky Ferreira has been removed from the online roster of Capitol Records, a possible sign that she and her label have finally parted ways after years of strife.⁠ ⁠ In public, Ferreira has been clear about her frustrations with Capitol. She said her new music had been "stuck at the mercy of other people" in 2017; five years later, she posted a clip of an unreleased song on Instagram, writing "I WANT TO PUT THIS OUT" over the video. “I am not a hysterical/lying/lazy lunatic," she wrote in the caption, pushing back on rumors of a difficult reputation. "This is beyond fucked up.
