It started with the poppy chintz, then I was reminded of that fab wallpaper that somehow combines stars and stripes and polka dots all in one and OF COURSE I had to use these vintage slipper chairs with killer curves I bought on a whim because I couldn't NOT HAVE THEM and dressed them up with tape and fringe and obviously my René Gruau lady brought the swagger jonathanadler says every room needs and why not squeeze these other fave two pieces above and below, but of course no bookcase is complete with wallpaper and packed with all of my favorite things and would you believe I found the perfect birdcage at estate sale (?!) and you know I have a thing for Italian ceramics- especially in the form of a Renisance dolphin garden stool and OMG we GOT THE RUG and while we're at it let's just paint the ceiling pink. #decoratingisfun lfshowhouse #maximalistmerriment . 📸 aimeemazzenga styling: cate.ragan.styling
