We were honored to have Alex Kaehler Design, once again, designing a room in the Lake Forest Showhouse. She certainly outdid herself with the dining room.  The dining room’s expansive floor-to-ceiling windows brought in amazing natural light that played well with hand-blocked vine Palm Stripe wallpaper by George Spencer Designs and the sky-blue velvet chairs, bringing the gardens in.  The Custom Martini 2-Tier Chandelier by Julie Neill Designs with handmade plaster medallion by Chicago Ornamental Plastering was a showstopper. Don’t forget to look down! The detail with the painted border on the Lewis Floor and Home sisal was beautiful. The stunning tablescape almost had us sitting down with her for brunch!
