Cocooned in a bronze glimmering cork wallpaper, the bedroom Lauren Collander decorated was titled “Embodiment of a Woman”. Lauren was inspired by the world that women balance between strength and softness. She and her team created the boutique hotel-inspired guest suite to lounge, rest, and live one's best life. The bold show-stopping Vladimir Kagan sofa was the picture of grace in the former large closet-turned-lounge space. The clean lines of the walnut headboard sat atop an Alexander McQueen handwoven silk rug, capturing the hypnotic movement of the delicate motif. The dramatic, peppery hues of the “Monarch Fire” were a striking counterbalance to the gentle tones of the mixed hand-forged metals. Each drawer of the dressing vanity showed a thoughtful way of living with everything one might need at arm’s reach.
