With its grand proportions and Georgian symmetry, the showhouse's expansive living room designed by the Vincere team was a meditation on luxury and comfort. The walls were sheathed in a slub silk wallpaper by de Gournay and the hand-knotted rug from Ariana Rugs at Lapchi was art for the floor. The Ingrid Donat sculptured bronze and lacquer coffee table was from Carpenters Workshop Gallery. Additional texture and depth were provided by custom-embroidered curtains from Holland & Sherry, while sumptuous fabrics from Cowtan & Tout wrapped tastefully realized Chaddock pieces. A Formations mirror and Jean-Michel Frank chair from Holly Hunt paired beautifully with an intricately detailed cabinet on stand by Alfonso Marina at CAI. The custom marble fireplace from Paris Ceramics was flanked by reproduction Italian chests through Lusso Design Resource, while a pair of Grace Munakata paintings from Anne Loucks Gallery floated above.
