In honor of "Saints, Sinners, Lovers, and Fools" (at the Denver Art Museum through January 22, 2023), drag queen Shirley Delta Blow took to the streets to ask Denverites how they identify. What makes you a saint or sinner? Who do you love and what are you a fool for? "Saints, Sinners, Lovers, and Fools: 300 Years of Flemish Masterworks" is making its US debut at the DAM. These artworks may have been painted 500 years ago and thousands of miles from Denver, but they still resonate. They show people striving for health, love, and happiness, being saints, sinners, lovers, and fools—just like today.
