For the first time since 1984, the Auburn Tigers have not worn the navy blue facemasks with the road white jerseys.
Barring the bowl game designation, Auburn will have worn the white facemask for three games (Cal, Vanderbilt, Arkansas) and the orange masks for one game (Texas A&M).
Auburn wore grey facemasks until 1979 when they were changed to orange. In 1984, the Tigers moved to navy blue facemasks. In 2007 and 2019, the helmets featured grey facemasks for a single game. Since 2021, the Tigers have had an arsenal of white, orange, and navy masks to choose from for each game.
