How can technology improve the connection between humans and vehicles? 🩵 For BMW’s 3rd year as lead partner of Westbund Art & Design, BMW presents ‘Emotional Nexus,’ an exploration of the co-evolution of humans and vehicles. In collaboration with artists Fei Jun, Liu Xin and Chen Zhe, ‘Emotional Nexus’ is a journey of emotional discovery, inspired by the entanglements of art and technology. In Part One, Fei Jun presents “Polyphony of Emotion,” bringing users on a sensorial artistic journey based on their emotional feedback through the i7 steering wheel. In Part Two, Liu Xin’s “NOAA” translates cold and distant data into a warm, emotional visual language. Chen Zhe’s “Passage” expands the boundaries of individual perception with the sound of driving in an invisible futuristic soundscape.
