On this Wednesday, we salute the service of Lawrence M Edwards. Lawrence joined the Navy on the day Pearl Harbor was attacked and served until 1947. Lawrence was a Seaman 1st class, gunners mate in his time in the Navy. The ship he served on was disguised as a fishing boat (third picture) and traveled between the Pacific and Atlantic through the Panama Canal. We are forever grateful for Lawrence’s service and salute him not only today, but every day. #WeSaluteWednesday
