During the three-day weekend period, tens of thousands gathered through the city blocks of Downtown Las Vegas to listen to acts including Kendrick Lamar, Odesza, The Killers, Amber Mark, and Reneé Rapp. Many artists performed at the Downtown main stage and the smaller Rolling Stone stage, which were powered by #MeyerSound systems consisting of both the PANTHER large-format linear line array and 2100-LFC low-frequency control element, provided by solotech_inc. During the festival, we had the chance to check in with FOH Engineer Tim Hibbert, who was mixing on Saturday for rising star Reneé Rapp on the Rolling Stone Stage. “One out of many things I liked about the PANTHER rig was the imaging,” says Hibbert. “To start with, I don’t like really loud concerts.
