“Racing is a great way for these children to learn sportsmanship and how to train hard for their goals.” Meet James Blauvelt👋, founder of the JDJFoundation, an NY-based volunteer network for young urban professionals passionate about giving back to the community. The nonprofit organization leads fundraising campaigns to support cancer research, pediatric wheelchairs, volunteerism, and scholarship. The late Joseph and Donna Marie Blauvelt had a vision for the JDJ Charitable Foundation years ago. After both passed away from long fights with cancer, James and his wife, Allyson, started hosting fundraising and volunteer events in their name.
