✈️𝙒𝙃𝙀𝙉 𝙃𝙊𝙂𝙎 𝙁𝙇𝙔🐷 In a team effort with Peterson & Schriever Space Force Base, the U.S. Air Force's A-10C Thunderbolt II Demonstration Team out of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base visited #USAFA with an impressive display of the aircraft's capabilities. Cadets also got the unique opportunity to meet the maintenance crew and pilots of the A-10C Thunderbolt II Demonstration Team, shake hands and ask questions. The A-10s are packed to the brim with features. From low-speed maneuverability, highly accurate weapons delivery, night vision imaging systems, and its iconic 30mm GAU-8/A Gatling gun, which can fire 3,900 rounds a minute, it was again a stark reminder to all who attended, after 50 years of faithful service, why the United States Air Force can't quit the A-10. #flyfightwin #warriorethos #wingmen
