Canisius High School has been named to the Advanced Placement Honor Roll at the Platinum level, a distinction only earned by 6% of eligible high schools across the United States and Canada.
Canisius is the lone boys-only school in the Buffalo Niagara region to achieve either Platinum or Gold status by the AP. CHS is one of just five WNY schools at the Platinum level.
The AP Honor Roll is based on a school’s ability to increase its college-going culture, provide opportunities for students to earn college credit and maximize college readiness.
AP courses, which allow high school students to pursue college-level studies and earn college credit, are taught by more than 30 percent of our outstanding faculty.
The nine teachers pictured here have taught AP courses at CHS for a decade or more:
Erin Conley – AP English Literature and Composition
Sam Rizzo – AP United States History
Amy Kimmel – AP English Language and Composition
Dave Hayes – AP United States Government and Politics...
