Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ running back Brady Oliveira has been named the CFL’s Most Outstanding Canadian for the 2023 CFL season, winning the vote by a margin of 57 to four over Montreal Alouettes’ defensive back Marc-Antoine Dequoy. The 26-year-old recorded 260 carries for 1,534 yards and nine touchdowns this season along with 38 receptions for 482 yards and four touchdowns. He became only the fifteenth player in CFL history to record 2,000 yards from scrimmage in a single season and the second Canadian ever to surpass the 1,500-yard rushing mark in a single season.
