As part of Creek Week and in celebration of October as Arts Month, volunteers and local organizations came together to construct a giant sculpture of trash that spells out “RESILIENT” at the Cimarron and I-25 intersection. The trash came from Fountain Creek just to the west of the sculpture as part of the citywide cleanup of creeks in Colorado Springs.
