It’s been almost five years since Eddie, the Oregon Zoo sea otter known for his ability to shoot hoops (and do other things), died at age 20. But now, a new generation of basketball legends is being nurtured in the sea otter pool at the zoo. First, Juno (first photo) picked up the rock not long after Eddie’s death in 2019. Now, Juno is 9 and the two younger otters, Lincoln, 6, and Sushi, 4, (second photo) are also learning the game.
