We’ve been lucky enough to visit Grand Canyon in every season — and in our opinion, there’s NO bad time to visit! The epic viewpoints will take your breath away ALL YEAR ✌️.

Winter in GC is one of our favorites, mainly because, we’ve had the hiking trails all to ourselves — literally, we saw 5 people spanning 10+ miles!
⛔️ Want to visit Grand Canyon in winter? Here’s what you’ll want to know ⬇️
▫️VISIBILITY 👀 : if you’re not up for hiking into the canyon, honestly, it may not be worth the trip. Viewpoints from the top of the rim were non existent when went late Dec/January last year— UNTIL we hiked below the cloud line — then BAM, we had the views, and Kaibab trail all to ourselves 🤩.
▫️HIKING CONSIDERATIONS: hiking the Grand Canyon in winter requires extra caution. Trails can be icy or snowy. Bring micro-spikes so you don’t slip!
