I filmed one shot at a time, in a room where I’m surrounded by my bike, camera gears and editing desk. After each shot, its straight into DaVinci Resolve to test if the trick is going to work, and should I need an extra pass or plate, its literally one step away. The camera is not moved until each illusion is successfully created. It’s a rather unconventional workflow where the editor can sometimes tell the d.o.p to reshoot because the shadows are blocking the mask. Some easy shots took 10 takes, some complicated shots just 1 take.
