For more than two decades, we have conducted a coat drive in partnership with the outstanding Coats For Kids initiative by colvincleaners. Our community filled several barrels with coats, hats and gloves in a drive organized by our students as part of the CHS Campus Ministry program. On Monday morning the donations were loaded by student leaders into a van driven by Colvin Cleaners Vice President Chris Billoni. Our thanks to news4buffalo for stopping by to talk with our students and spotlighting this great Western New York tradition. Students also raised more than $550 for those in need Monday through a dress-down day that was also a competitive activity within our pioneering CHS House System – Loyola House and Gonzaga House were the top fundraisers.
