Joel Foster, DPM

Joel Foster, DPM, earned his undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Kansas and received his doctoral degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his surgical training at the Medical Center of Independence, which included forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, minimally invasive surgery, nerve surgery, diabetic wound care and limb salvage, peripheral vascular disease, and sports medicine. Dr. Foster is board-certified in foot surgery from the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and a qualified associate of the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons. He specializes in treating all foot and ankle-related conditions and is committed to providing the best care possible for his patients. He and his wife, Michala, have been married for 25 years and have three children. In his spare time, Dr. Foster enjoys hiking, sailing, skiing and traveling with his wife and children.
