**ABOUT LIV GOLF**

The LIV Golf League is the world’s only global golf league featuring 13 teams, a 14-tournament schedule, and many of the world’s best golfers. Launched in 2022, the League was designed to expand the sport on a global level and create new value within the golfing ecosystem while enhancing the game’s societal impact. **HISTORY**

LIV Golf launched in 2022 as an eight-event Invitational Series with tournaments across the U.S., Europe and Asia. 2023 saw the first official season of the LIV Golf League, establishing the sport’s first professional golf teams captained by many of the game’s most decorated superstars competing in 14 events around the world.

The format respects golf’s history and traditions with updates for modern-day sports fans; three days, 54 holes, no cut, shotgun start, and simultaneous team and individual competitions, offering a faster tournament that drives engaging storylines and offers an immersive fan experience. The League’s award-winning events, each wholly owned and operated by LIV Golf and broadcast to over 500 million homes worldwide, showcase world-class competition within a family-friendly environment. Music entertainment, live concerts and a festival-style atmosphere play a signature role with LIV Golf, a two-time winner of the World’s Best Golf Event from the World Golf Awards and a Sports Business Awards Finalist for Sports Event of the Year.

LIV Golf continues to expand its reach by bringing the League to new and returning markets featuring some of the most iconic venues in the world. It has also introduced free agency to professional golf, integrating end-of-season player promotion and relegation, team trades and off-season roster movement that drive year-round fan engagement, embraced by many of the world’s most popular sports.

**Role Overview**

The Social Media Graphic Designer will concept, design, and deliver graphics, templates, and visual assets that elevate LIV Golf’s digital presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms. You’ll work closely with social managers, video editors, and editorial teams to turn storylines, data, and moments into scroll-stopping visuals that drive engagement and help grow a global fanbase.



This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands social-first design trends, and can adapt quickly to support content needs during tournaments, announcements, and real-time moments.



**Key Responsibilities**



**Content Creation**

* Design high-impact graphics for daily social content, including announcements, stat cards, quote cards, story frames, thumbnails, and motion graphics.
* Build and maintain a dynamic library of templates for internal teams and LIV Golf clubs.
* Create visual identities for social franchises, shows, campaigns, and new content series.

**Brand & Creative**

* Ensure all assets align with LIV Golf’s brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries to keep the brand fresh and modern.
* Collaborate with the creative, video, and production teams to develop cohesive cross-platform visuals.

**Real-Time Support**

* Support live coverage during event weeks by producing quick-turn graphics and motion assets.
* Work with social specialists to create graphics that match real-time moments, trends, and fan conversations.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**

* Partner with the league and team social departments to ensure design consistency across 13 teams and league channels.
* Collaborate with marketing, partnerships, and communications teams to support sponsor deliverables and major league announcements.



**Qualifications**

* 2–5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably within sports, entertainment, or digital media.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects).
* Strong understanding of social-first design, platform formats, and visual storytelling.
* Ability to manage multiple projects, hit tight deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure.
* Experience designing for video (lower thirds, transitions, simple animations) is a plus.
* A strong portfolio showcasing eye-catching social content, motion graphics, and brand systems.

**ROLE OBJECTIVE/THE TEAM**

LIV Golf is seeking a highly creative and trend-savvy Social Media Specialist – Vertical Content to join our growing social team. This role will focus on developing, editing, and publishing vertical-first content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and emerging vertical platforms. The ideal candidate is fluent in internet culture, thrives in fast-paced environments, and knows how to turn raw footage into engaging, thumb-stopping moments.

This role will be critical in helping LIV Golf grow its global fanbase, reach younger audiences, and drive both cultural relevance and business impact.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

**Content Creation and Publishing**

· Lead daily creation and editing of vertical-first short-form content for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, Snapchat, and other emerging channels.

· Capture and package behind-the-scenes, player lifestyle, and golf action into platform-native formats.

· Write engaging captions and select trending sounds, music, and creative elements to maximize discoverability.

· Manage day-to-day publishing schedule and live coverage during tournaments and tentpole events.

**Trendspotting and Innovation**

· Constantly track cultural trends, memes, audio, and editing styles across TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.

· Proactively pitch and execute creative concepts that insert LIV Golf into broader cultural conversations.

· Test new content formats, tools, and creative approaches to drive growth.

**Collaboration**

· Work closely with the league social team, videographers, and editors to source raw footage and adapt it into vertical-first content.

· Partner with influencer and creator teams to integrate co-branded content across platforms.

· Support Sponsorship, Marketing, and Events teams with vertical assets for campaigns and partnerships.

**Analytics and Optimization**

· Monitor daily and weekly performance across vertical channels.

· Identify trends in watch time, retention, and engagement to optimize future content.

**REQUIRED SKILLS/WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR FROM YOU**

· 2–4 years of social media experience, with a strong focus on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

· Skilled in vertical video editing (Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Final Cut, or equivalent).

**Overview**

LIV Golf is seeking a creative and data-driven Social Media Specialist with a focus on YouTube to join our growing digital team. This role will manage day-to-day publishing, optimization, and growth strategy for LIV Golf’s YouTube presence, helping us expand global awareness, engage fans, and create content that drives both storytelling and viewership.

The ideal candidate is passionate about YouTube culture, understands platform trends and algorithms, and can create content that resonates with both core golf fans and new audiences.

 

**Key Responsibilities**

**Content Creation and Publishing**

* Edit, publish, and optimize daily video content for YouTube and YouTube Shorts.
* Work with LIV Studios and external creators to transform raw footage into engaging, platform-native content.
* Create custom thumbnails, titles, and metadata that maximize click-through and retention.
* Manage content scheduling, playlists, and channel organization for maximum watch time.

**Growth and Optimization**

* Monitor YouTube analytics to track views, impressions, engagement, retention, and subscriber growth.
* Run A/B tests on thumbnails, titles, and content formats to improve performance.
* Stay up-to-date on YouTube trends, algorithm changes, and best practices, applying them to LIV Golf content.

 

**Storytelling and Campaigns**

* Support league and player storytelling by packaging highlights, behind-the-scenes content, documentaries, and creator collaborations into compelling YouTube formats.
* Collaborate with the Social and Marketing teams on series such as The Duels, No Bad Lies, and LIV Films, ensuring consistency in brand voice and creative execution.
* Build playlists and long-form content strategies that increase session time and channel stickiness.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**

* Work closely with Sponsorship to integrate branded content and deliverables.
* Coordinate with Events, Comms, and Influencer teams to amplify tentpole moments and campaigns.
* Ensure alignment with overall LIV Golf social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, X, and Facebook.

**Analytics and Reporting**

* Provide weekly and monthly reporting on YouTube performance to the Social team and leadership.
* Identify content trends and audience insights that inform future creative direction.
* Use data to recommend new formats, posting cadence, and content strategies.

**Qualifications**

* 2–4 years of experience managing YouTube or video-first social channels for a sports, entertainment, or media brand.
* Strong video editing skills (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or equivalent).
* Familiarity with YouTube Studio, Creator Studio, and social publishing tools.
* Creative eye for storytelling, thumbnail design, and metadata optimization.
* Ability to balance creative instincts with data-driven decision-making.
