For this week’s story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have @kgunalbert & @emzemalbert ✨ "Emily and Kevin met in statistics class during their junior year in September of 2013 through a mutual friend. Emily was on the all-girl cheerleading squad, and Kevin was on the lacrosse team. Emily and Kevin were both New Jersey natives, pursuing the same Exercise Science and Sport Studies major. They had a lot in common from the very start. Their immediate friendship was a strong foundation for a healthy, fun, meaningful relationship. Together, they rode to and from class, worked on projects together, and attended formals. Kevin would watch Emily cheer at games and performances, and Emily made it to every home lacrosse game in the spring. After graduating together in 2015, Emily and Kevin each moved away from Rutgers and out of New Jersey, but Rutgers always held a special place in their hearts.
