Maddison Van Der Mark (maddie.vans), a rutgersartsandsciences junior, developed a strong sense of pride serving her community and country domestically and abroad as a sergeant in the usarmy. The challenges of adapting to civilian life, however, resulted in feelings of frustration and anger that boxing helped her reconcile.
