Welcome to the Harvard University Liberated Zone and Gaza Solidarity Encampment! 🍉 Harvard students have established this encampment to demand their university end its complicity in the ongoing genocide in Gaza. They are calling on Harvard to: 1️⃣ DISCLOSE any investments that contribute to Israel’s genocide in Gaza, apartheid, and occupation of Palestine. 2️⃣ DIVEST from investments in Israel and companies profiting from Israel’s genocide and occupation. 3️⃣ DROP all charges against student activists. As of 2019, Harvard had invested over $200 million in companies linked to illegal Israeli settlements and $86,625 in the Israeli military. Today, the Harvard Management Company, overseeing a $51 billion endowment, provides no details on its Israeli investments. Harvard University must take immediate action to end its complicity in Israel’s grave human rights violations!
