Johnny Farrell, known as “The Gentleman”, is part of our 2024 Class of Inductees. Farrell beat Bobby Jones in a 36-hole playoff to win the 1928 U.S. Open at Olympia Fields Country Club. He won an impressive 22 pgatour events in his career. Farrell played in the first three Ryder Cups for the United States team in 1927, 1929, and 1931.
